Welcome Lindsey Stephenson - Vice President - Correspondent Banker

We are pleased to welcome Lindsey Stephenson as Vice President, Correspondent Banker, responsible for supporting and building customer relationships in Western Iowa and neighboring states. Lindsey is a graduate of Iowa State University as well as the South Dakota School of Ag Banking. Her past includes starting as a teller at her father’s bank when she was 15 years old. Lindsey continued her career in banking and eventually became the Market President for Rolling Hills Bank and Trust in Atlantic, Iowa. In 2016, she accepted a finance position with a construction company domiciled in Colorado. Eager to return to community banking, Lindsey brings enthusiasm and a wealth of banking experience including operations, lending, leasing and retail to Bankers’ Bank and the banks we serve. She is excited to be part of the team and is looking forward to meeting with customers.

October 2017 - Welcome Robert Jarosinski

 Bankers’ Bank welcomes Robert Jarosinski as First Vice President of BankCards & Payments, focused on shaping the future of payment product offerings. Robert brings over 10-years of experience in financial services with roles including: management consulting, mergers & acquisitions and risk management all with a focus in the payment industry. He is regarded as a payment and emerging technology subject matter expert working with clients 1:1, speaking at high profile events and as a regular contributor to industry publications. Robert is a graduate of Northwestern University with a B.S. in Communication Studies. He is excited to be part of the Bankers’ Bank team and is looking forward to meeting with each customer bank in the near future.

Welcome Amanda James - Vice President - Correspondent Banker

Amanda James has joined Bankers’ Bank as Vice President, Correspondent Banker, responsible for supporting and building customer relationships in the greater Chicago area. Amanda spent the past three years in Chicago managing mortgage customer relationships across the Midwest. She also held positions in Real Estate Services, Property Management, and Asset Recovery at a corporate relocation company headquartered in Connecticut. Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Boston University and worked in classical music management in New York City early in her career.


New Role for Troy Ruegsegger, AAP - Vice President - Correspondent Banker

Bankers’ Bank is pleased to announce that Vice President and AAP, Troy Ruegsegger, will be moving to our Correspondent Banking Team as a Correspondent Banker for Southern Wisconsin. Troy joined Bankers’ Bank in 2002 and has been a key contributor in the Deposit Operations area, with a focus on International Money Services. He will transition to his new role by the end of January. In addition to assisting the needs of banks in Southern Wisconsin, Troy’s extensive background and accreditation will enable him to work closely with the other Correspondent Bankers to further streamline cashletter transitions and coordinate beneficial account solutions for current customers and prospects across the Midwest.


Welcome Tom Thompson - First Vice President - Commercial Banker

Tom Thompson recently joined Bankers’ Bank as First Vice President – Commercial Banker, with relationship and business development responsibility in the Northern Illinois area. He has extensive experience in business development with commercial banks and financial institutions, covering asset-based and cash flow lending. His 30 years in commercial lending includes roles in audit, underwriting, credit analysis, portfolio management, credit restructuring, and originations. Tom joins Bankers’ Bank after spending the last 10 years with a Chicago-based commercial bank. Tom received a BS degree from the University of Illinois - Champaign and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois – Chicago. He is also very honored to serve as a Board Member for Special Olympics Illinois since 2008.

Mar 16, 2016 - New Iowa Lender

Bankers’ Bank is pleased to introduce Shane Greenleaf, the new Iowa lender to join our Credit Services department. Shane will be working out of our Des Moines office, although you will have a better chance of meeting him either in your bank while he’s out making calls, at one of the various Iowa bankers’ meetings, or at our Correspondent Day outing on June 6 at Des Moines Golf. Shane is a Iowa native, and grew up in Sioux City. He attended University of Northern Iowa, has lived in Des Moines since 2003, and brings with him 15 years of Banking/Financial Services experience. Dec 7, 2015 - Bankers' Bank Welcomes New President/CEO

During 2015, we conducted extensive research and interviews to find a new President/CEO.  We are pleased to announce that Bradlee F. Stamper will become the President/CEO of Bankers’ Bank and Bankers’ Bancorporation as of December 7, 2015.

Brad is a graduate of Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio. He brings with him over 33 years of experience in banking, both at community and regional bank levels and in such areas as commercial, retail, consumer and mortgage lending, finance, marketing, risk management, sales and strategic planning.

On December 7, Edie Tholo, who served as President and CEO in the interim, will resume the role of Executive Vice President.

We look forward to introducing you to Brad at various venues and industry events in 2016.

Congratulations to our very own Edie Tholo for being named one of the 2015 Outstanding Women in Banking by NorthWestern Financial Review.  As one of our first employees, Bankers’ Bank has known since 1981 that Edie is an outstanding asset to our business and staff, as well as to all the community banks we serve. From Operations to President & CEO, she has left her mark at every step along the way.
